Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to administer the content of your web site with simple point 'n' click actions. Right-click shortcut menus allow fast access to various file manipulation options, while convenient drag 'n' drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your desktop computer in an instant. You will also find in-built file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and unarchive files effortlessly as well.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The integrated drag 'n' drop functionality will allow you to effortlessly move files between your desktop PC and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you wish to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it to your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop PC. Also, you can download files and even folders to your personal computer by clicking the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager GUI, you can create a brand new file or folder with just a click. All action buttons are handily located above the file/folder list and you can edit your files effortlessly. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, explore the contents of a file or edit its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager, you will be able to compress and unarchive all types of files. It works astonishingly fast - just select the files you would like to compress and press the Compress button. You can even select the type of the new archive (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract files from an archive to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager GUI, you actually do not need any external pieces of software in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to preview the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will actually show up on the web. In addition, you will find several integrated file editors, which will give you total control over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are meant for more knowledgeable individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy users.
